Miracle: A surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is considered to be divine.
Can you imagine starting a new year with the mindset of miracles?
Can you imagine starting anew with the knowledge that miracles are all around, just waiting for you to catch a glimpse?
Can you imagine reflecting on a year that was filled with twisted roads of separation and loss, awe-inspiring moments of change and big leaps of faith by sitting in a space of complete love and trust?
I hope you can. I know you want to, but I know that most of you don’t even dare to dream of such a beautiful space of mind.
Especially, after the year of 2012.
It was a turbulent year for many of us, wasn’t it?
It seems like everyone went through a massive amount of growth, pain, inner turmoil, desperation and fear.
It’s not surprising to me as it was the year the world was going to end.
Not literally, no. Much better than that.
2012 marked the end of the world as you and I knew it.
2012 may have felt harsh, cold, hopeless and frightening, but it paved the way for bigger, grander things:
love, miracles and inner healing.
My year has been anything but easy, but I’ve never dealt with challenges in a healthier way and I’ve never felt more serene and, well, OK.
I’ve grown stronger as I separated from my husband.
I’ve learned to trust myself completely as I moved to a new continent without a visa or a job.
I’ve learned to be proud of myself as I faced massive failures in my business and career.
I’ve learned to let myself be vulnerable as I’ve been criticized and falsely accused.
I’ve learned to love my spiritual side without feeling ridiculous, overwhelmed or like a fraud.
And I’ve learned to embrace excitement as I’ve formed new relationships and met new friends.
Yes, 2012 was a bumpy road and took me in directions I could have never dreamt of going, but it didn’t crush me and I’m still standing: stronger, better, healthier. HAPPIER.
That marks my first year of miracles.
Now, that 2013 is just a mere hours away, it’s time for all of us to fully open our hearts, minds and souls for more of those.
Whether 2012 has been a mere disaster for you, a half-hearted attempt of change or a big step towards personal freedom, 2013 is a new beginning and we can all start with a clean slate.
That’s where Gabrielle Bernstein’s “May Cause Miracles” comes in. A book, that’ll help you create massive changes in your life with daily exercises and subtle shifts of mind.
“May Cause Miracles” is a book that deeply touched my core and awakened parts of my inner life that I didn’t even know were slumbering deep inside.
Learning of Gabrielle’s teachings was a miracle in itself. I don’t even remember the specifics, but suddenly she was here, in my life, in my heart, teaching me lessons I desperately needed to learn.
Like Gabby’s, my life has been filled with fear, terror and darkness.
There was nothing and nobody who terrified me: teachers, classmates, failing, not measuring up, tests, my brother (obviously!), alcohol, preparing dinner (which explains my lack of doing so), even helping my relatives move was beyond my capabilities because I knew I would do it wrong.
Everything felt like a struggle. Everything felt too big, too scary, too much to handle.
But like Gabby, I found my way out of this darkness by learning to choose love over fear: every single time.
I found my way to a more loving relationship with my body, a healthier approach to food and a journey to forgiveness that has transformed all areas of my life.
But not only that: Since starting to listen to my inner guide (or ‘ing’), miracles have happened all around: Miraculous people entered my life. Job opportunities beyond my wildest dreams lined up at my door. Unbelievable “coincidences” seem to happen more often than not. And my life suddenly seems “easier” than ever before.
Suddenly, my love is life and my life is love.
Fear, extreme anger and torturous pain have no room in that.
That, to me, is truly miraculous and a state of I would’ve never dared to dream of.
“May Cause Miracles” takes you on a beautiful journey to creating this miraculous life for yourself.
It helps you to tap into your inner healing powers, no matter how dark your world may seem.
The truth is that this world is full of love, kindness and miracles beyond your wildest imagination: all you have to do is wake up and see.
Make 2013 the best year of your life by slowly and steadily opening your eyes: one subtle change at a time.
What a better way to start a new year, right?
May you have the most wonderful, awe-inspiring. fun and happy year of your life.
I love you and I know, deep in my heart, that you can live a life of miracles too.
