How can you love yourself even if you’re not perfect?
How can you accept yourself even when you feel like you’re just a hot mess?
I was faced with this question this entire week.
As I’ve said, I had slipped back into anorexic behavior a few months ago and had lost a lot of weight. My thoughts started to haunt me when I began to put on the weight I had lost. So, I felt yucky, fat and really, really sad (in an anorexic way) to see my tiny body make room for a healthy one.
So, what do we do when we feel disgusted with our own self? Can we still love ourselves or is all our effort towards living in the bubble of happiness all for nothing?
